A good tool box item
Questions
Q: will these tools (25-1009-8) (25-1010-8) work in the carribean and how many atatchments are they? Will these tools work on japanes vehicles in the carribean ? eg: toyota corola, suzuki vitara, nissan sentra & pathfinder.
18 years agoA: OBDII generic is global so it should work anywhere in the world. Look on the emissions label under the hood for "OBDII compliant".

Q: OBD2 is it compatible w/ isuzu vehicles?

Q: Where do I connect it to my 2003 Jaguar S type? I know on some vehicles the connection is under the hood and some others it is around the steering wheel and under the instruments cluster.
14 years agoA: The OBD connector on that vehicle is under the dash at the extreme right corner next to transmission tunnel.

Q: What is the manufacturer's model number of this unit? There are several model numbers from this manufacturer. The model number is not visible from the picture, even in the larger picture. It is too blury.

2 years agoA: No this is just a code reader. You can clear codes that's about it. It's not the greatest tool but if you know what your doing then it's helpful.

Q: 3120 RS code reader shuts off when I put in the 8th number on VIN which is the letter K and push enter, on a 1992 silverado with a 350 engine
4 years agoA: Hi Brad. Unfortunately, if you are pressing the Enter button and the unit is powering off, this indicates a defective unit since that should not be happening. Please do not hesitate to reach back out to us since the tool does have a one-year manufacturer's warranty with your receipt, and we would be happy to get this addressed with you. Q: On a Honda/Acura car can this Scan tool perform a Neutral position test or VSA reset?
4 years agoA: Regrettably, The 3120RS will not be able to perform a Neutral Position Test on any vehicle. The 3120RS also cannot read or reset the VSA light or diagnostic trouble codes for any Honda vehicle. For VSA light or trouble code reset, we would recommend the 3130RS (025-1010), however please note that this function does depend on year, make, and model of the vehicle.

Q: Can you use this tool for a Volvo Truck?
4 years agoA: The Innova Code Readers (including the 3120RS) are designed for vehicles equipped with an OBD2 compliant system. OBD2 is a diagnostic system included in cars, minivans, SUVs and light-trucks (1996 and newer). Larger sized vehicles exceeding a gross vehicle weight of 8,500-lbs are most often outside of OBD2 compliance. To identify if the Innova tool is compatible we would recommend checking the VECI label under the hood of the vehicle. If there is no indication of OBD2 compliance then unfortunately the tool will not work.
