The Oatey Purple Primer/Cleaner is a versatile product for cleaning and preparing PVC and CPVC pipes and fittings for joining. With a milder formula compared to standard primers, this cleaner helps remove dirt, grease and residue before gluing parts together. Ideal for situations where an aggressive primer is not required, it helps ensure clean joints and long-lasting, reliable connections.
Oatey Purple Primer/Cleaner is formulated for PVC and CPVC pipe and fittings
Removes surface dirt, grease and grime for preparation before solvent cementing
Less aggressive than clear and purple primer only products
Purple tint ensures piping has been primed prior to solvent cement application
For use in areas where plumbing code calls for verification that a primer has been used
