Fantastic price @ exactly what I ended up needing. Downside is… really tough to install, as both pieces are hard-wired, making it hard to install by one person to a ceiling fixture

Poor quality

The good and bad. The good it is on clearance, the light is bright, replaced twin 4 foot florescent lights and this is much brighter. The bad the metal is cheap, installed straight onto wood rafters and when I screwed the second hole the first broke through. The wires are not connected to the housing so they hang down where you have to stuff them all back. First light I installed did not work, I could of pulled on a wire trying to stuff them all back. Next light I installed I tapped the wires up and worked. Bought 5 so the test is how long will they last, not repairable like old fluorescent light just throw away. I don't like the quality specially at regular price.

Q: Can I link multiple lights using a hardwire installation for each light? The manual says that when linked, only the first unit has to be hard wired. However, can I hardwire all of the units to individual outputs on the same circuit - ex. separate (distant) fixtures all connected to the same switch with hard-wiring?

A: Yes, if one switch operates multiple electrical boxes, each of the units can be hardwired to its own electrical junction box and operated from the same switch. The directions in the manual refer to hardwiring one unit and linking the others via the provided linking cables and/or end-to-end connectors. In the case this consumer is describing, the linking cables or end-to-end connectors will not be needed.
