Keep the air in your home moving while incorporating new functional décor with the NOMA Samsun 5-Blade Ceiling Fan. With a grey oak and olive ash finish, this large ceiling fan brings a beautiful design to the room of your choosing. Measuring 52 inches in diameter, this ceiling fan with light is most effective in a larger space of approximately 225 square feet or more. Many options are possible because of its five reversible blades, making it functional regardless of the season. During the winter, you can bring air upward to add additional warmth to your space. In the summer, direct the air downwards to circulate cooler air. You can accomplish all of this with three speed settings depending on the strength of airflow you need at the time. This ceiling fan for bedrooms and more comes with a remote control, so you can adjust the settings without having to get up. The light is dimmable to set the right mood and it only uses 12W of low-wattage LED for energy efficiency. Mounting hardware and instructions are also included, but only mount this ceiling fan to an outlet marked acceptable for fan support. Most outlets commonly used for a light fixture are not acceptable for fan support and may need to be replaced. If in doubt, consult a qualified electrician.

Q: Can it be installed on a slanted ceiling?
3 years agoA: I am attempting to install this right now on a vaulted ceiling and have encountered 2 issues. 1) with the remote treceiver installed the mounting ball cannor swivel far enought o accommodate anyhing but a minor slope in the ceiling. 2) Standard 3/4-in downrods to extend and provide clearance for the blades do not fit in this unit - it appears to have smaller diameter downrod holes.

2 years agoA: This ceiling fan has an energy efficient integrated LED light kit. The color temperature is not adjustable; however the product can be used with a dimmer switch.

A: Like most fans, the reverse or ‘seasonal’ airflow function is located on the body or housing of the fan. The purpose is to change air flow between summer and winter months. Having the control on the remote can cause excessive wear and tear on the motor and damage it IF the button is accidentally touched/pressed when the fan is operating.
