Poorly distributed lights

I didn't like the distribution of the lights on the tree. The ones in the middle next to the trunk got hidden by anything placed on the outer edge of the tree.

A: The string of lights that I bought was with white bulbs. I believe you can also buy it with different coloured bulbs, but I am not aware of any strings that can switch electrically from multi-coloured to white.

A: I just love our new tree! It displays all different colors and is easily stored. The base is a container which measures 13 x 13 cm ant 23 cm tall.

Q: How is it stored? Can it be folded down or shoved into a small box/tube?

A: It stores quite nicely into the box it came in, which measures 32-1/2" x 5-1/2" x 5-1/2". The branches fold down so it can fit in the box.
