Easy to install but the plastic notches break very easily & then the top will not stay on. The tops fall off all the time because of the squirrels (I assume). Not very bright but enough for our needs. Don’t recommend

A: They might be harder to screw into a PVC fence post, but they work pretty well once installed. The bulbs last, the rechargeable batteries might need replacement after a couple years or so.

Q: the Ad title says : 8 Lumens then inside the comment, it says 2 Lumen.....Please correct. 2 Lumen is very low light, 8 would be great......FALSE advertising!

A: I purchased these last year and they were on the posts through all seasons. The lights are very bright so the 8 Lumens would be correct, They have a clear white light. After a sunny day these lights stay on throughout the night. I had an older version of these and my one recommendation is to take them off when there's a hurricane. I hadn't because they are seamless and I forgot what 100 km/hr swirling winds would do.

Q: What are the replacement batteries for these lights as the batteries that come with them are Branded Yards and Beyond, NI-CD AA 1.2V 150mAh which are impossible to find. Canadian Tire stocks Noma 900mAh batteries. Will those work?

A: It can work , if the sku#052-8019-6 is use NI-CD AA 1.2V 150mAh , the replacement battery use the battery capacity higher than 150mAh that would be good .but it must be rechargeable AA 1.2V NI-CD or NI-MH battery.

Q: Will 6 pack fit on flat surfaces as well as posts.with screw holes in base as well as side?

A: These solar post lights do not have screw holes in the base. Screw holes are on side of base so that you can install on a post.

Q: Do you sell replacement parts or is there a way to contact Noma directly to obtain parts? I'm specifically looking for the base that screws on to the post. I've had a few crack over time and I find myself purchasing another 6pk set to extra base parts.
