Sensitive Wide angle sensor to 20 feet paired with sufficient illumination for reading door code etc. The screws were left inside the battery compartment upon unpacking. Easy to install and relocate.

A: 11/2023 - I am very happy with this item, and it worked reliably through our cold Saskatchewan winter (installed 11/2022). Still on first set of batteries. As long as motion continues, the light stays on. When the light goes off, further motion will turn it back on in a couple of seconds.

Q: Does this work in medium light? We need this to come on when we back into the garage. The garage has windows so there is light in the garage.

A: I don’t think it is, but I’ve had 3 of these units for a long time and none of the bulbs have need replacing yet.

A: Get the best alkaline batteries. Regular alkaline lasted about a month in the winter - lighting up our house door upon our returns home when we forgot to turn on the outside light. Switched to Duracell Quantum and this will be their second winter.

Q: Can this light be mounted on the side of an RV ?

A: Hello. I WOULD NOT recommend installing this light on an RV. The light holds onto the mounting plate by sliding 2 little slots over 2 plastic stanchions. The lights comes off the stanchions very easily (in order to replace batteries). This light will surely come off the mounting plate as the RV is travelling over the road and runs over bumps in the road.

Q: Someone mentioned in reviews it is not a security light. Want to know its bright enough to work as security light for skunks. Planning to buy 5 lights for side walkway and backyard. Will it do the job? or recommend some other model please.

A: This works great for an indoor/outdoor security motion security light for smaller areas. As far as deterring the skunks, it would depend on the area of coverage you would like, this particular item will cover up to 180 degrees and provides a brightness of 115 lumens. If you would like a larger coverage area there are several other Noma senor solar power lights that offer a larger distance and brightness.

A: It detects motion within 25’ (7.6 m) of the motion sensor. The motion sensor has a 100° detection angle. For optimal operation install the motion-activated security light at a height of 8’ (2.4 m) or less.
