Bought in April 2024 and used for the summer period. It worked great and we were very happy. Wouldn’t turn on this spring. We’ve had an electrician check it out and the controller no longer works. Have made extensive efforts to buy replacement part without success. Very expensive experience for about 4/5 months use! Wouldn’t touch another Noma product in future. Our previous Hunter Douglas fan operated without issue for 13 years.

Looks great, easy install. Very poor quality.
After install the fan began to randomly start on its own. This issue began within one week of install. We planned to exchange the product but didn’t get around to removal for a few months. Then it began banging, to the point where it would wake us up at night. This is a serious problem especially when the fan starts on its own up to 18 times per day.
Exchanged the fan, second fan experience is exactly the same as the first.
Garbage product, don’t buy.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Started off great, but then
a year ago
Installation went ok - manual was confusing and small pictures but install went well overall. First night the fan was so quiet we could now hear other noises that we had never heard with our previous fan and only replaced due to lightning. In the middle of the night it started banging and woke everyone up! Turned it off and looked everywhere for a cause the next day all I could see was the scratches in the photo, I took it completely down reinstalled every screw to ensure it was tight and it was nice and quiet again. The second night after running about 2 hours it started banging again! Now it’s coming from the sealed motor housing. Returned for a different model which has been problem free for the first week so far. Tried to upload video of the noise but photos only no videos.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: how do you hook up this light to two switches light on one and fan on another? on the remote receiver there is only a black white and ground coming out of it.

A: Not sure what you want is "light to connect to one switch, and fan connect to another switch in order to control fan and light separately". If yes, very sorry to say that the fan can't proceed like it. Because this fan is DC motor fan, all program is through the receiver, so you can’t connect the same receiver to two switches. Also, pls kindly note that fan can’t use on solid-state fan-speed control device, more details can be found on IM page 4, thanks for your attention.

A: This product can be used on a sloped ceiling as long as the slope does not exceed 18 degrees.
