NOMA App doesn’t recognize plug

Waste of money, I bought this plug a few years ago as a way to control exterior lighting in the tempo during winter. It worked the first year but it’s. been collecting dust ever since. The app doesn’t recognize the plug even though my phone is inches away.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Spend your money on different brand

Bought this last year and took a while to get it to connect and then ot just kept going offline constantly... tried this year same issues ... took forever to connect again and it turns on when scheduled but won't turn off ??? Waste of money try anything else other then NOMA

Do not buy, save your money and sanity

Do not waste your time and money with this product, the app is apparently easy to use, but its got a mind of its own, I tried setting up “experiences” as they call them for a simple on off timer, it worked ok for a very few weeks and then the plug decided to turn on/ off randomly, even when I turned it off manually, a few minutes later the connected lights were back on, I tried resetting and reinstalling the app, nope it kept acting stupid, I ended up unplugging them because I got tired of messing with them, right now they are in my pile of electronics to be taken for recycling, what a waste of money
