A: This fixture comes pre-wired with a plug in extension cord about four feet long. The opposite end of the light fixture has a receptacle so you could string them together at your preferred spacing to the limit of your circuit capacity.

A: I flush mounted them by drilling 3 small holes in the thin metal backing plate, the lights are mounted to the underside of my shelves in the garage and look great!
