Purchased Just In Case....

I purchased this string at the sale price to have as a spare set just in case one of my other two sets on my house fail.
I like these lights, but was told that they have been discontinued by CTC. My only negative comment about them is that CTC does not carry the required fuse (if needed), and I was forced to purchase some from a popular online retailer. If CTC is going to sell a string of lights under the NOMA brand name, which is exclusive to them, then I think the least they can do is support the product with replacement bulbs and fuses.

Not reliable.

I purchased three strings in Nvember /2023 installed the outside lights and they worked fine until May /2024 . Then they stopped working . I brought them inside and cleaned out water in some bulbs , replaced a few burned out bulbs and installed new fuses in the plugs . Where or how can I find replacement plug fuses and replacement bulbs?

A reminder, as with all replaceable bulb type strings, please make sure all bulb caps are tighten prior to installation, as some may have loosened during shipping and handling. This will make sure the weatherproofing seal is tight and prevent possible moisture penetration. Please note: This product is protected by a 10 Year Warranty with receipt. A: This isn't particularly helpful. In addition to universal clips, Noma has a number of model specific clips. It's disappointing that there isn't something like the "advanced" clip that works with these for more precise hanging.

A: Hello Wire. Thank you for your question. The NOMA Advanced Commercial Grade C9 uses a special circuit design called "Constant-lit", an advanced strand technology that keeps the entire string lit even if one bulb burns out. The LEDs are further protected from harsh weather and other external factors by an insulated pin and double heated shrink tube that ensures many seasons of use. Best regards and Merry Christmas.
