Geat extention cord I love the green colour, you can either hide it in the grass or lay it on top of the grass and it is easy to find. It is also grounded for attachment to a heated bird bath.

Q: Can I use it with certified electric lawn mower model#060-0739-0? The mower rating is 10A and the cord is also rated 10A. Want to make sure if this should be fine or need to use thicker cord instead. Will the cord cause over heating to the mower?

Q: Have a Ryobi tiller/cultivator 8.5 amp combo that has AWG listings for various lengths but don't understand all this wire type. Says for cord length 25/50 ft. the wire size needs to be 14; the 100 ft. length the wire size 10. Can this work??

A: The tiller is rated 8.5 Amps at 110VAC. All of our outdoor extension cords will have rating of 10 Amps or greater. The 82 foot cord is rated 10 Amps and will work fine.

Q: I purchased one of this cord recently but it do not say that it is rated for -40C. I need it for outdoor Christmas decorations and was wondering if this is suitable.

A: Based on Canadian safety standard for extension cords, as long as the extension cord is rated for outdoor use, it can be use within the temperature -40C to 60C without special temperature marking on the cord. Yes, you can use it for outdoor Christmas decorations but please read the warning tag on the cord before use and pay attention on the overall electrical loading in use.

A: This cord is rated to -40 Celsius. This cord at 25M is only rated up to 10 amps so it would be insufficient for most block heater cords. A thicker gauge cord would be recommended.
