Q: Where can I find a video or owners manual on how to operate these- the instructions do not have any affect/ they turn on and then off and never come back on again. Can they be operated individually or always need a parent and child?

A: Ours needed new batteries out of the package!! Instructions work, the lights….not so much. Or perhaps we need a manual too?!?! They worked for a month after replaced batteries and some stopped again. I need to just take them down and replace them with a different product.

Q: Is there an option to have this continuously on? or is it only motion activated?

A: It's it up on a lower wattage once it's dark, but when it senses motion it goes to full brightness for 20 seconds or so, then goes back to lower light. These things are very bright at full power. I'm happy with my purchase.

Q: What type of solar battery is the replacement for these light? How ling do the barriers last. We have had ours only 4 months..now none of them working...could it be batteries already????

Q: Hi There. What is the housing of these lights made of? Are they plastic or some kind of rustproof metal? How many charges can they withstand before the batteries will die. I assume you can replace with new AA solar batteries. Thanks

A: This light itself is constructed of durable plastic and is rust proof. The hardware used to attach your light to a surface is made of galvanized metal. This light uses a 3.7 volt, 800 mAh, 14500 sized Lithium battery, which will provide 7-12 months of light for the first year, depending on where you live. In warmer regions which receive more light, the light will experience more cycles and last fewer months. Replacement batteries can be located at your local electronics store.
