The wrapping said ideal for air conditionning units. I'm using it for a coffee machine and a light, occasionally also small kitchen appliances like a coffee grinder, a mixer, or a food processors, all small things that don't produce heat. I think it is working fine for these things.

Q: wattage allowed?
I've got a 450watt blender. It will blow the circuit if I use it and the fridge and freezer kicks in at the same time.
Wondering if this would work. Rather than trying to time my usage.

A: You're problem isn't the extension cord. It's the starting current drawn by the fridge. Run the fridge and blender on separate circuits.

Q: I know this says it is for an AC unit but do you think it could be used for a small / medium chest freezer? I need to find a large appliance cord and it looks like this may be the closest thing. If this isnt the right one, do you know which one I can use?

Q: I have a 14000 btu portable air conditioner. 115V power supply, 11.9 amps. Will this cord be ok?
1 Answer
A: As per vendor:
The ratings of the extension cord are within the ratings of the electrical device, air conditioner. However, it is the responsibility of the consumer to review and follow all safety warnings and cautions of the device connected to the extension cord and of the cord itself in order to determine if the connection of the device to the cord is a proper application. In this case, we are aware that many manufacturers of air conditioner units specifically warn against the use of an extension cord. We encourage the consumer to review the specific cautions and warning provided by the manufacturer of their device and proceed accordingly. This will determine the acceptability of the use of the AC unit with the extension cord.
