Excellent coffee (and hot chocolate)!

I have owned the machine for 6 weeks, and highly recommend it. Easy to operate, and a great balance between automation and individual control. It replaced a DeLonghi Magnifica, and using the same beans, all coffees taste better. Looks good on the counter, too! I would buy again (but hopefully won't need to for several years).

Yes, I recommend this product.

There is a con

Expresses great tasting coffee. The only downfall, I don't think it was made to froth 2 cups of milk, automatically. I use the manual mode to froth milk, and it's amazing. Great power.

Water excess warning

6 months ago. Everything ok, except the red thing that warns of excess water. It doesn't rise and it wets everything.

New at it but happy so far.

We’ve only had it a week or so but it has really upgraded our morning coffee. It’s a little more of a process than a k cup but so worth it. There are some variations we’lll try this weekend like cappuccino and lattes. It does not take up as much counter space as I anticipated which is good. The water reservoir is in the back so you can’t see how much water you have but the machine signals you when you need to add water or coffee beans. I would recommend this for coffee lovers, especially if you’re not in a rush!

Drip tray issues

The Ninja Lux makes genuinely great coffee, and once you learn your way around it, the machine is capable of producing excellent results. It’s a bit complex to use at first, but with a bit of practice it becomes manageable. The main downside is the drip tray. It fills up far too quickly — usually after just 3–4 cups, which isn’t ideal for a machine at this level. I contacted support and, to their credit, they were friendly and acknowledged this as a known issue. Removing the tray itself is also a little awkward compared to competitors, many of which can easily handle 8 or more cups before needing to be emptied. I believe the issue is there is too much purge or waste water over 200ml with each cup. In short: great coffee, nice features, but the drip tray design really lets it down. And if you’ve got five guests over for dinner, expect to empty the tray halfway through your coffee run.
