This item was purchased to replace an igloo cooler and has proven to be the perfect choice for short-term trips. Very happy with the product. Excellent quality.

I received this on August 13th of this year and 24 days later it is starting to fall apart. The lid itself is separating at the seam exposing the internal insulation. Also, part of the base is starting to expose the inner insulation. The cooler has never been dropped, smashed or any other miscue. I am very disappointed.

I got this on sale back in May and I am so impressed by it! I go camping multiple times every summer and was looking to upgrade, and the drawer was intriguing enough that I was willing to try a Ninja cooler. I took this on a five day trip during the hottest weekend of the year (high of 98° in the shade with a 108° heat index for three of the five days) and after prechilling the day before and using frozen water bottles as both ice and drinks, with ice cubes filling gaps between the bottles and other items in the main body of the cooler, the drawers stayed cold enough to keep my meat and cheese chilled through the whole trip. I love the latch closure so much more than the rubber hook type of closure on rotomolded coolers. Even when your hands are wet and slippery you can close the latch easily, even when the cooler is packed full against the lid. The extra latch on the drawer to keep it from falling open while lifting our moving the cooler is also very useful. The external dimensions are very thoughtfully laid out. I am 5'10" and my 5'3" wife can lift it as easily as I can. She was very pleased with the spacing and shape of the handles and how much easier it was to lift than coolers with moving handles (rope, or just swivel). It makes it take up a little more room in the back of the car, but it's worth the sacrifice.

Super torn on this. I wanted to love it. But it defiently didn’t keep ice for 5 days. I bought just as much ice as I did with my cheap cooler. And moving it was impossible. It took two people to move it and we struggled. The bottom tray was as nice and kept food cold because all the melted ice water kept super cold , in turn keeping the drawer cold. That being said , I ended up returning this and purchasing the 65 with wheels because it was just too small with all the ice and only half a cooler because of the ice drawer. I enjoy the 65 a little more I find it stays a tad bit colder.
