Disappointingly Poor Quality

I bought this as a gift for my (very hard to buy for) husband. So disappointed. One light didn’t work right out of the package, and the other light turns on and off randomly. After reading other reviews about the design flaws I don’t think I’ll waste my money buying fresh batteries. Absolute garbage. I expect better quality from Napoleon.

Questionable quality

2 lights in the kit. Neither one worked. Turns out 5 of the 8 button batteries were badly corroded - inside the sealed blister pack!!! I had thought that Napoleon represented better quality. Gonna keep a close eye on my brand new Rogue. Make sure it doesn't rust out. LOL

Works Just Fine...

My son bought these for me and I couldn’t be happier. We eat late at the cottage so I cook late - sometimes too light to see what I’m doing. My lights tend to work for an entire summer before the batteries need replacing and they provide ample light. In fact the light is great! They both take four specialized batteries which aren’t necessarily inexpensive but I have found they last.

Batteries Corrode Very Quickly

While the lights do provide very good illumination of the grilling surface the issue I have is with the very fast corrosion of the batteries due to the heat from the grill. I've found that within 6 to 8 uses the batteries are corroding. I've stopped using this item and have bought a floor lamp with a flexible base...it works.
