These picks are very well-made, very sturdy and classy (elegant) looking. In addition to using two at a time for holding corn on the cob, they can be used individually for cheese, meatballs, fruit, or any other bite sized nibbles.

Corn Cob Holders - set of four pairs made by Napoleon

Used a pair recently and they were very good - did not bend or break, did not transmit heat to my fingers and thumbs. They were easy to insert into the cob ends and provided ample space to hold on to the handles. I will take them to places and parties where cobs are served.
