Q: I misplaced the charging cable. can anyone tell what is the proper charging cable i need to buy for this unit?

A: The product I have can be found on the CTC web page under product code 037-9478-4. The specification tab indicates the product consumes 13 watts. There is no power related information on the individual connector end. The one end is your standard USB-A charger connector and the other is a Mini-USB.connector.

Q: does it have a magnetic base and how many brightness / light settings ?

A: The worklight of Sku# 037-0794-4 does not have magnet, it works with hook or handheld. The brightness reaches to 350 lumen, the light seeting is: high light, low light, strobe light; high light can work 2 hours, low light can work 5 hours.
