The MotoMaster Simple Series 6A Battery Charger & Maintainer makes battery charging and maintaining simple. This automatic charger can handle all 12-volt batteries and has a range of safety features to eliminate risk of shock. A convenient built-in light lets you know the status of your rechargeable battery.
Fully automatic, microprocessor-controlled 6 step charging process ensures a safe, fast and thorough battery charge
Recommended for charging batteries rated 20 to 120 Ah and maintaining batteries rated 20 to 400 Ah
Suitable for all 12-volt lead acid battery chemistries including flooded (wet), maintenance-free, AGM and gel cell
Built-in safety protections include reverse polarity, short circuit, open circuit, spark-proof, overheat, overcurrent and overcharge
Follow charging progress via simple 25%-50%-75%-100% LED indicators while an Error LED warns if charging has been suspended due to a charging abnormality being detected
Energy efficient switch-mode technology makes it compact and lightweight
Special low-temp insulation keeps cables flexible even in extreme cold temperatures
Convection-cooled for silent operation

Q: My 2021 car will be outside from Jan-April with temps ranging from-10 to -35 degrees. If my battery is fully charged when I start using the charger in January, do you think it will maintain the charge or is it still possible for the battery freeze?
3 years agoA: Yes this should keep you battery topped up and prevent freezing. Obviously whoever wrote for CTC doesn't know the drains of electronics as I have seen brand new cars deplete their battery to the point of a winter time (-30C) no-crank from sitting a couple weeks.

a month agoA: Yes, its a maintainer as well as a charger. Its meant to keep on batteries over the winter or for long periods of time.

Q: I have a Gel battery. Can I leave this unit plugged in while I'm away for 10 days? Also what is the max charge rate ?
2 years agoA: Yes you can leave it plugged in. When fully charged the charger maintains a float charge. The maximum charge current this item will provide is 6 amps.

Q: I used this once on my car it worked great. I then tried to use it on my truck battery and came up with a fault. Now it doesn’t work on any battery just straight to a fault.

Q: Can this charger be plugged into a timer or does the charger have to be reset when the power is lost?
3 years agoA: Charger does not need to be reset when power is lost...so I guess you can plug it into a timer. Great product. Keeps all our batteries charged!!
