Bought one from Southdown Road/Lakeshore store in Mississauga as it was on sale and wasn't sure I needed one. Turns out didn't need it after all but the store would not accept the return even though unused and box was unopened. Apparently their policy is no returns on boosters and trickle chargers whatsoever. Nothing on my sales receipt, the store shelf or in Canadian Tire's company policy that indicated this. Will never be back and as the store was completely empty, looks like I'm not the only disgruntled customer. Keep up the not-so-great work!!

Great product at a great price

So far so good. Was looking into the Nico Genius 10 to do both my truck battery and bike battery but had the guy at the store hype this one up enough and at probably 1/3 of the price of the Noco when it’s on sale, I went for it as I already had another charger to use for the other battery. Seemingly done the job. It’s really simple, plug, play and forget. Will keep it charged over the winter I’m sure of it

Q: If using the eyelets to permanently mount to a vehicle battery, can they both be directly connected to the battery post cable screws? The manual only talks about the clamps and connecting the negative to grounded metal.

A: Yes, both eyelets can be connected directly to the battery but you will eventually have corrosion to deal with.

A: J’ai acheté ce chargeur intelligent pour qu’il fonctionne il faut qu’il y ait encore de la vie dans la batterie si elle est à plat ça ne marche pas. C’est ce que le gars du CAA m’a expliqué. Ça ne peu pas servir a chargé une batterie à plat.

A: Solar battery maintainers are available. Just get one with at least 2 amp output. Solar panel inside windshield and plugs into cigarette lighter or hard wired to always on car power source.

A: Depending on how low the battery is, this charger might not have enough juice to charge overnight....it is more of a trickle charger that works great to keep a battery charged when the vehicle is not being used
