Q: Can I use this Oil for 2008 LAND ROVER LR2 SE?
4 years agoA: Ya sure why not, it wont do anything to the rover, might even help clean it out a bit and cheaper with synthetic filter. GM APPROVED .

Q: After studying the labels, the 0w30 has 507 rating for vw diesal engines. While the 5w30 does not. Anyone know why? Maybe formulated in differnt plants?

A: VW recently (in the past couple years) changed the 504.00/507.00 spec on their own "VW" brand oil to be 0w30, and is what they recommend for all of their TDI engines. I imagine this is just following in line with that.

Q: MM oeplus Euro 0-30, confusing, under "features" it states SP/GL6, Under "specifications" it says SN. Label says SN. Is it SP or SN? In my research ACEA oils can be updated to SP but bottle lables remain described as SN. True with MM oeplus 0-30 euro?

A: If the bottle says API SN, then that's all I would trust it to be. Similar to only trusting the MSD sheet for a chemical, and not the salesman's pitch.

A: The MotoMaster OEPLUS European 0W30 will meet the specification (228.51 or 229.52 or 229.31) and grade 0W30 (all temperature) required for the Mercedes ML350 2015 Diesel Bluetec.

Q: This particular oil is designated "MB-Approval 229.52" which is a diesel rating. However, nowhere on the labels does it state that it is suitable for diesel applications. Is this particular oil suitable for diesel applications?

A: Motomaster OEPlus European 0W30 Premium Synthetic Engine Oil is a European formulation and as such meets specifications for both Gas & Diesel powered European engines. This engine does meet the MB 229.52 diesel specifications and is approved for use in vehicles requiring an engine oil that calls for MB 229.52 specification. However, it is not suitable for use in all Diesel applications and you should confirm the engine oil requirements as outlined in your vehicles owner’s manual.

A: No MM OE Plus Euro 0W40 (0287962P) does not meet BMW LL-01. MM Synthetic 5W40 (0288720) meets BMW LL-01.
