The floor mats were returned. Did not fit the Ford Escape well and the materials used were flimsy and not what we expected.

I considered more expensive options than these, but felt that these were worth a try given the ratings. There were 2 obvious other options that have a good reputation in the industry, but these Motomaster mats are the best value. They are a more snug custom fit than I was expecting, and you have to put a little effort in to get them installed. Just a little, not much. The side walls do a good job protecting the rest of the floor that is not directly on the floor. Clearly there is no water getting through them, as it does sit there on the mat for a long time. I guess either you have to towel dry them ever once in a while, or leave your windows open a crack for better evaporation. At least the moisture is not sitting directly on the floor material. It is hard to find a bad thing to say about these mats.
