Q: hi, i bought this at canadian tire 2 days ago MotoMaster Long-life Antifreeze/Coolant Product #29-3040-0 however im still not using it, is this 50/50 i got an accent 2009, the coolant i have is color green? the resovoir is kinda low, can i refill it w/o changing or flushing my coolant? is it safe? is it necessary a distilled water should be mix w/ the coolant? thanks

A: For a "top up" I recommend the 50/50 mix. As it gets colder, in the fall, check the antifreeze level recommended for your area.

Q: Product description says Minimum Temperature -17.00 °C. Is it a typo? What's its freezing point with 50% dilution?

A: The product is actually a concentrate. On the website, mentioned min. temp is -17°C / 1.4°F that corresponds for ~ 30% concentrate + 70% water. Mixture (30/70). For 50/50 (50% concentrate and 50% water), the freeze protection will be -37°C .

Q: Toyota manual says use a non silicate non amine non nitrite non borate with Hybrid Organic Acid Technology coolant. Toyota also says phosphate additives are needed for aluminum protection. Does this product meet those requirements

A: I haven't studied the specs. I used it without problems in a 1997 Subaru wagon and a 2001 Volvo wagon.
