It goes through additional refining, distilling, and purification. Through that process, there's less impurities and there's more uniformity between the oil molecules, so what that means for your vehicle is faster flow at start-up, better lubrication and better protection for your investment. \tCanada's cold in the winters, and you want to make sure that your engine is protected on start-up. Synthetic oil is the way to go.
