5 years agoA: Motomaster Extreme Pressure Gear Oils are designed for use as automotive axle lubricants. They are not suitable for use as steam engine oils

Q: Can this be used in the transfer case of Mitsubishi Outlander 2012, 4 cylinders, ES model? Thanks.
6 years agoA: This transfer case calls for an SAE 80 GL-5 gear oil. This may be a hard viscosity to find in the market. The customer could use the 028-0239-0 (80W-90). They would however not want to use the 028-0236P (85W-140) as it is really too viscus for this application.
