Q: Is this product suitable for marine lower unit applications? My Yamaha outboard motor calls for SAE 90, GL4 hypoid gear oil in the lower unit.

4 years ago- A: This gear oil is recommended in hypoid gear applications, but it is not an SAE 80. It’s an SAE 90 multigrade oil. 80W specifies the cold temperature performance. This product is a higher viscosity oil at higher temperatures (100 C). It does not meet the dealer’s recommendation.4 years agoHelpful?

Malheureusement, MotoMaster n'offre pas d'huile qui répondrait aux exigences d'une huile pour transmission manuelle pour une Honda Civic 2008. Ce véhicule a une transmission de type synchromesh et le fluide API GL-5 ne devrait pas être utilisé dans ce type d'application. Le fluide Honda MTFIII est requis (Honda PN 08261-99964), qui répond à la norme API GL-4 pour les transmissions synchromes.
