There's a reason it’s discontinued.

Lightly used & stored indoors, the controls are dead & will not charge. The warranty is overdue, should have bought a cheaper charger.

No, I do not recommend this product.

i bought one these and lasted maybe a year or so under light use at home...the display control board went out..so got another under warranty and the same thing happened about year later...also know 2 other people with the same charger and same problem..they are junk now...canadian won't warranty anymore, even though they still sell this junk and 1-800 # in manual says the control board is discontinued already....do not waste your $ and they did not like to work in cold weather outside either..thats when you need them..lol

Great while it worked.

I had this charger for the past year and it worked as advertised. I had zero issues until the display screen went dead and now it will not charge anything. Of course it being a year after the purchase, I don’t have the receipt anymore so I doubt they will exchange it. On the plus side it’s got the three year warranty and CT will exchange it with warranty within that time. Live and learn I suppose.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Can this me set to manual charge as well as automatic I wanted to know if I could also manually charge as well as auto charge.

  • A: Yes. You can charge manually at 2, 20 or 55 amps. You can set a manual timer (up to 2 hours, if I recall) or set it to charge indefinitely, which must be monitored or a fire can ensue.

Q: Mow much does this whole package weight?

  • A: Older, "wheeled" chargers weigh 50 - 70 lbs. depending on the size of the transformer inside. I don't know if this one uses "inverter" technology but the transformer must be quite small. I haven't weighed it but I have lifted it easily with one hand and I think the unit weighs less than 15 lbs.
