MotoMaster Digital Dual Truck Tire Gauge

I can be as hard as the next guy on products, when I write reviews, but fair is fair. I noticed the previous review giving one star. If you have particular criterion for a product to work for you, then do your homework first and get something that meets your self-defined important issue. But don't buy the product without checking, then give a bad rating because it isn't what you wanted. This is the sort of thing that (along with paid shilling# makes online reviews problematic. Everyone who looks at this product now on the catalog display page sees one star. That is not useful info. To begin with, +/- 2 psi is well within variance for a consumer tire gauge. The old-style ones with the pop-out reading stick were often barely marked down to that level. If you drive something with tires that cost $500 each, and/or you are hyper concerned with your tires, then go buy a professional tire gauge. Most people are clueless about their tires anyway until they look almost flat, so really it's largely a moot point. Ok so finally to the actual review: I own this item, and the only reason it doesn't get five stars is that #like other, similar made-in-China items) you have to turn it on and off to reset the gauge. This is just plain stupid and irritating if you overinflate then have to adjust the pressure down. Other than that, it has a robust feel, is easy to grip, and it serves my purpose well: I have a bad back and I picked this design as it reduces the stooping required to firmly position the business end in the tire valve. Wait for it on sale and it's a great deal.

I purchased this Item as I had just lost the same style of gauge I had purchased recently from another store.,It looked ,handled and was priced like a perfect replacement until I read the small print (accuracy plus 2 minus 2 p.s.i.) That kind of accuracy would be costly in gas and tires.
