Garbage quality. First time going to use it and it wouldn't hold fluid in at the required level for testing. Cheap hose with to much garbage plastic content making it to hard and stiff to work well when it is cooler outside, still above freezing temps. I am quite sure it would break at -20ºC.

Q: what does "Maximum Service Life (years) 1 yr" mean?

A: I means that the device will quite likely start to break down and fail to work after 1 year. I have had several of these over the last 50 years and they usually hold up for much longer than 1 year. To ensure that the device will last as long as possible, rinse it out with distilled water after each use. When it does begin to fail you will notice that the squeeze bulb and tube will begin to show signs of cracking and perishing. The lower tune is easy to replace with any other flexible tube of the correct size. However the bulb is not so easily replaced.

Q: I have the previous iteration of this tester. The package says run the engine till warmed up. The commentary says for a few minutes. I believe may cause someone severe burns. What temp is required for accuracy?
