I am a fan of Mothers, however…

There are better products.This stuff is just OK. It gets the tires marginally blacker than what they were, but not much and it doesn’t last. It lifts a lot of dirt, but you can’t clean it off unless you wash the tires again. The picture with the X is the washed and dried tire. Picture with the checkmark is washed, dried, and treated with two coats of the Back to Black. You be the judge!

We would recommend you follow with a tire dressing to keep the tire from "blooming" and discoloring prematurely. Canadian Tire offers two options, the Mothers Back-to-Black Tire Shine, or Mothers Back-to-Black Satin Tire Dressing (our favorite here at Mothers).
