Seems better than really inexpensive extensions.

Needed new extensions. Always bought the really cheap ones before. They do not weather well. Just bought these so they are in testing phase. I have 3" x 3" downspout. Needed adapter collar as it looks like 2" x 3" would work without

Q: how? I saw these two items here, went to store & purchased both. Can not get the two to fit together no matter how hard I try! I have tried with and without the removable end piece, threading, jamming... what am I missing, please??!

A: You need two-twist on adapters. One male and one female. The pipe comes with one twist-on male adapter and you have to buy one female adapter to connect two pipes.
