Incorrect Instructions -Support Nightmare

Bought this in Nov. '24. Followed instructions (installing without deckplate). Handle was swiveling with the faucet. Called Moen Support a couple weeks later, said they could send an O-Ring kit (so I could "take apart the *brand new* faucet, fix it, and put it back together ??) didn't make any sense. Lived with it until March 28 (with screws under neath loosening every 3-4 weeks -requiring re-tightening (after emptying out everything)). Moen Support will send O-Ring Kit (but on back order, will take 2-3 weeks...). Received the kit, did the repair... same issue. Called Moen Support on May 1st... after an hour, received an e-mail stating that the install instructions were incorrect and the plastic gasket and O-Ring are -indeed- required underneath the faucet body (on top of the deck). 6 months of an improperly working unit... and unnecessary self-repair on a brand new faucet.
No, I do not recommend this product.

This is a beautiful Moen tap in chrome which is harder to get these days . The fellow at Canadian Tire at Broadmead went out of his way finding a supply of this tap that I had taken a photo of when in the store 6 months prior. They were sold out and so was another store he called . Then he found it at the Langford store on clearance sale! We had it installed and it is so smooth to shift so we are extremely happy with the purchase and that wonderful fellow at Broadmead whose name we failed to get...Thank you again as you will know who you are! Much appreciated.

Q: Does this faucet remember the last setting when turned off? ie When you turn it back on is it still at the same temperature setting as before?

The temperature will only come back on at the same temperature if: the handle is left in the same position and if the hot and cold water pressure remain the same. Q: Can I hook up a portable dishwasher to this tap? I.e. can the tip, aerator, be removed?
