Perfect faucet for regular condo kitchen

I was looking for a standard faucet - without additional sprays, pull out showers and none fancy features - to replace my previous Peerless faucet which broke apart completely after 3 years. Also, for some reason it was installed with 6" holes distance, not standard 8' so the new one had to be easy to install and don't have pipes on the sides. There were only few types which fulfilled these requirements. And among them - I was lucky to find out that this is a MOEN faucet which is perfect for this application.
It has only one hole montage option, so it could fit to ANY kitchen configuration, it had standard size compression fitting ends, it accepts standard adapter for faucet tip so we are able to install our Brita Filter addition, it is less than 100$ and it is MOEN! What else could you ask for??

Hard to Turn after 4 years.

We’ve had this faucet for about 4 years before something went wrong. Although it still works, has a great finish, and does not leak, it lo longer turns from side to side easily like it once did. A lot of force is needed to turn this faucet from left to right. It’s not a major issue since, aside from the workout I get from using this faucet, it still works fine in all other aspects.

Easy installation & less is more

This Moen faucet replaced a tap 3 times more expensive which was noisy, leaked and after waiting 2 months for a part from the manufacturer I wanted a product that was reliable and easy to install. In spite of my arthritic fingers the switch-over took only 30 minutes. I finally have a tap that is quiet and doesn't leak. I am pretty sure that in the event of a malfunction Moen parts will be easy and quick to get.

Since I had mine I have changed two cartridges in the unit. Another problem I get is slight water leakage from under the lever. When this happens I take the cartridge out and bring it to the store. If they have one in stock they give you a new one right away. The finish still looks goods on mine so thats a good thing.
