I thought it would be more opaque, more see through but the white is very vibrant almost like a paint

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the product! We have received several compliments on the finished items. Used one coat (dries very quickly so you have to work fast) and we got the results we wanted, white coating that allows grain to show. Definitely recommend!

Love the look but how do I seal it?

Love the look but when I tried to seal it with a matte polyurethane, it darkened to the point of looking like walnut. What have others used to protect the wood?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the minwax design series . I loved the way it looks on my cabinet. It’s easy to use and I will be buying more. I had to take some of the old paint off of the cabinet for me to get the right color, but it came out ok.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am looking forward to using Minwax Color Wash on my cute antique coffee table that I found at the thrift store. I had planned to have my husband sand and stain the table, but much to his delight I found this color wash. I can now still have the antique look I wanted and he can spend a few minutes rather than several hours refinishing my little table!
