The versatile Metabo HPT MultiVolt lithium ion battery powers the full range of MultiVolt tools for ultimate flexibility. Providing 36V and 2.5Ah, this power tool battery delivers ample runtime for cordless use with saws, drills, sanders and more. For added capability, the 18v battery can also drive Hitachi or Metabo HPT 18V slide-type nailers with 5.0Ah. The lightweight battery features 18650 cells for over 1,080W of power. Its compact size and convenient 4-stage fuel gauge make power monitoring straightforward. Multiplex protection prevents overloads and overcharging. For corded use without battery drain, simply plug tools into the MultiVolt AC adapter (sold separately).

These are absolutely fantastic batteries. I run them in my rear handle saw and am continually impressed by how long they last. Two batteries are plenty for all day cutting on framing jobs and they charge quickly too. A++

Fantastic, long-lasting battery. I used it all day long disassembling concrete form and it went form 4 bars (fully charged) when I started the day and finished the day with the battery showing 3 bars!!!! literally pulling 100s of screws.
