A good working vice for the price. Comes with soft jaw covers. For my purposes it gets the job done.

Low quality, really. I bought this expecting more. Jaws don't align. The back-and-forth action of the vise is sloppy, with low-quality machining. I filed down a bunch of rough spots from poor-quality casting when I first installed it. I was also missing the soft jaws. They were missing. One thing that is a major pain for me is that the two locking mechanisms on the side of the vice that you use to pivot or rotate are so tight and close to the body of the vice that it makes it very hard to use. If you really want to tighten them down, you either need to bust up your fingers or get a hammer to tighten them. But the metal round bar used is thin, and a hammer over a short period of time will bend them. They really don't have much torque to get the vice locked in. It's just bad design. I've had the vice for over a year and am disappointed in the quality of the vice—amateur vice, not professional grade. Also, the handle is short, not giving much torque to really tighten down. If you want better qaulity. I suggest you do that. I'm so sick and tired of thinking you're getting something really great when, in fact, it's another piece of mediocre junk,

Unboxing, I first noticed the swivel base parts to be really loose. Not having owned a swivel vise before, I decided it was fine, probably better once mounted and tighten the two set screws. Then I discovered how poor of machining was done. The jaw is super loose and sloppy. Unacceptable quality. The hitch vice doesn't have this kind of slop. Boxed it up and returned it.
