Q: How deep is the socket end? If I have a nut on a bolt and the bolt has about half an inch sticking out after the nut, will this be able to reach and loosen the bolt?

Q: Are the sizes stamped into sockets as shown in the pictures? The pictures for this product show the sizes stamped into the sockets, but several reviews complain they are not. So are the sizes stamped into these sockets, or just laser etched?
11 years agoA: The size is both stamped and laser etched on the deep sockets. But on the short sockets, there is only laser etched size, because there are chances that the stamped marking and the laser etched marking overlap in mass production and won’t look professional.

Q: Incomplete Range! I wish Canadian Tire would offer socket sets in complete ranges. I know 16 mm and 18 mm are very uncommon rarely used sizes, but the fact is those sized fasteners do exist. In fact, I had to borrow an 18 mm deep impact socket from a neighbor.
13 years agoA: 18 is very popular with North American metric and should be included. 17 is not popular with North American metric.
