This versatile MAXIMUM Flap, Strip & Polishing set contains all the discs you need to treat and restore the condition of a variety of metal surfaces. Designed for use with the most common size of angle grinder, each aluminum oxide disc performs a different function, from grinding and stripping to smoothing and polishing. Q: Will this product work with my master craft grinder. Can’t seem to find a master craft one in stock.
4 years agoA: As long as it’s for a 4.5” grinder it will fit any 4.5” grinder as far as I’m aware. I have a mastercraft grinder and i believe I do use maximum disks

Q: What does the sponge polishing disk (grey) do? It seems to abrasive for painted material.
4 years agoA: Correct….the sponge disc is better used with a polishing compound like jewellers rouge to polish bare metal to a bright shine. When this is achieved, then coat your metal with a clear coat to help retain the shine or plan to use the disc and compound to regularly remove the natural oxide layers that reform on metal surfaces.

Q: How do you connect this to the grinder? Seems as though the flange will not be able to fit due to the thickness of the disc... do you just screw this in and not have a back or top flange securing it?
6 years agoA: This item features a plastic quick on backing for fast and easy switching between discs, just screw this in and don't have to use back or top flange to secure it.
