ok tools, terrible charger/battery

Purchased these in the summer, they worked fine, actually thought the tools themselves were fairly well built for a mastercraft brand, metal chuck on the drill, impactor did what it's meant to.
now the weather is cold I cannot get the batteries to charge, red light on the charger when the battery is inserted.
my ten year old Bosch drivers/ drills charge at - 30 just fine.
disappointed
No, I do not recommend this product.

The particles in the reaction move slower when they are exposed to colder temperatures. Slower particles mean less power and a smaller charge. When batteries are in cold environments, they may struggle to provide the necessary energy for a device, hence the red light on the charger. To prevent damage, we recommend bringing batteries to at least 0°C (32°F) before charging.

Beat DeWalt in power but.....

This set was very oowerful and had way less slipage than MY DeWalt but I returned it for one reason only.The light on the drill point under the nose instead of illuminating the drill area.The driver did light up correctly.
When I returned it, I found them rude and condesending as if lighting up a dot on the wall was proving anything other than both lights are positioned the same place although the drill is 3 inches longer.
The maximum I previously had lit up around the head.I actually found these more powerful than the brushless drill driver I then purchased from DeWalt.
The Maximum was powerful enough for wheel nuts and the DeWalt could not cope.
The colors are very dull and a different color would make it reflect as higher quality.
Ive decided to simply start with Milwakee that came with 2 pack batteries option in a promotion as I purchase only because I have batteries from DeW.
I find Home Hardware has great service and returns are less hassle.The drill and driver work great and are lighter and comfortable but have great torque.
I find knowledgable humans around that know the tool well and can compare options and comparable features as well.

A: As per the warranty there is a 90 day satisfaction guarantee 1 year warranty on both tools 3 years on battery & charger and 5 year limited warranty on both tools.

Q: I returned one combo already for battery charging issues and got another one. With this combo, one battery isn't registering on the charger and other is coming up with two blue bars which is a battery default. What is going on??
