bought in july 2017. broken in 2025.

i got it in july 2017. an excellent and powerful impact wrench to change the tires on 4-5 cars 2 times a years (summer, winter).
since 2024, i noticed that when i let a battery on it, the battery is always empty when i want to use it later.
now, june 2025. finally, the impact wrench still work, but if i let a battery on it, it kills the battery. now i have 2 of my 3 maximum 20v batteries that are dead.
warranty is over. i don't think i will bring it to be repaired, i think the cost will be too high. i will rebuilt my 2 dead batteries to use them with my drill and my impact screwdriver, and i will buy an another impact wrench.

I haven't had any issues using this in the field for fixing and repairing harvesting equipment. I've been using it for 2 years now and has plenty of power to take off any bolt I need to take off and replace. been a great work horse.

I bought this tool to cover until I had my 3/4" Milwaukee and It worked great Wenn I had my 3/4" Milwaukee back I wanted to torq my u bolts on my same truck rer axle boot nothing teh didn't move a bit ( big surprise )
I said this tool goes even white Milwaukee

Beast of a Gun worth every penny

I bought this for the infamous crankshaft pulley removal. but it has become my go-to for changing tires any kind of rusted bolts anything it does the job. Google this gun and you will see that it has a twin that is considered one of the top of the line guns in Europe. I'm not sure who makes these but boy oh boy this thing really works and at a clearance price it's a steal.

Q: Why do they tell me that this cannot be used outside? It can only be used in room temperature according to my local Canadian tire rep.

A: No idea what they are talking about. Used it last November and December to do my tire changes to several vehicles outside. No issues. well worth the money if you do your own seasonal tire changes.

A: It worked on my 2012 Honda Odyssey. Using a thick wall 19mm socket and my corded impact, rated to 240 ft-lbs, it didn't budge; so I ran out and grabbed this one and it started turning the bolt with no fuss at all. I didn't completely remove, this was just reconnaissance to determine if I should order the timing belt kit, but the ease at which it began turning the bolt I can't see it not going all the way!

A: From your description, it is very difficult to provide an answer. One common problem Users experience is that the forward / reverse switch is inadvertently left in the middle position. This locks the tool and it will not operate. Try pushing the switch fully in either direction and try the tool. If it continues to not function, please call 1-888-670-6682 and a Customer Service Rep will assist to put you in touch with a Technician that may be able to assist with your specific situation. The tool is warranted for 5-years for repair.

Q: The description of this impact says 1200ft lbs nut busting torque, yet after purchasing the box says 750lbs nut busting torque. Nowhere on the box or in the manual does it mention 1200ft lbs. Is this falsely advertised?

A: Maximum tools are designed to compete with similarly matched national brand tools. The Maximum tool is rated for 750-ft lbs of torque. One of the national brand tools the Maximum was matched against made the claim of 1200-ft lbs of breakaway torque. Through independent testing of the national brand tool it was discovered the claim was valid and using the same testing methodology for the Maximum, it was also validated that the Maximum tool could achieve the 1200-ft lbs for breakaway torque. The Maximum packaging was already completed and the tool in the market when the testing was done. Therefore the claim has only been updated on the website and not on the packaging. The packaging update is still undetermined.
