Extreme heat warnings were concerning

Friends highly recommended this flashlight, however, I found the numerous warnings on the back to be careful because of the heat that the light produces - keep away from flammable items; don’t put it lens down when it’s still on and don’t tough the lens….

It's very bright for the price, it feels like a quality flashlight, it's all metal, IP67 and it feels like 1.5k lumen even though it's advertised as 1k. Will buy again if I need it and it's on sale.

Q: The package indicates the battery is "built in" but also indicates the cell also has a micro-USB port in addition to the USB type C port on the light. How do you access the micro-USB port of the cell if it is "built in"?

A: The micro-USB port is located on the battery. The battery can be removed by unscrewing the small end of the flashlight. The other USB port is accessed by unscrewing the big end of the light. You don't have to remove it completely.

Q: Is the beam adjustable? Ie. From wide to narrow beam?

A: My 065-3113-0 flashlight does not have an adjustable beam. The head unscrews to reveal a USB type C charge port but the beam does not change. Recent 065-1739-4 models with the Osram 1000 lumen emitters do have a focusing beam but no charge port. The older 065-1739-4 with a Cree 930 lumen emitter do not have a focusing beam or charge port but they do have mode memory where they turn on at the last power level used. The newer lights all start on high.

Q: The title indicates "1000" lumens but the description indicates 1100 lumens with UV. I have seen a similar one in the store marked 1000 lumens but with zoom capability. Are the descriptions mixed up somehow?

A: There are two lights that look a lot alike. I have both. One has UV but no zoom or strobe. The other has zoom & strobe but no zoom. They both use the same battery. I don't know if there is a difference in the brightness. In my opinion, both are excellent flashlights.

Q: The UV light still works, but the white light will not. Is a bulb dead? Is there anyways to fix this? When working It’s a great flashlight.

A: Hello. If the only the UV light works, it must be some problem on the LED or the drive. you could return the flashlight to the shop where you bought it. When it is confirmed to be defected, you could have one new flashlight free of charge as replacement.

Q: Hi. Will this UV light highlight blood? For example a small blood trail in the bush for when tracking an injured animal? Do you require anything else to do so, such as filters or chemical spray etc? Thank you.

A: To detect the blood, 365nm UV light is frequently used. The wavelength of our 0653113 is 405nm. It is often used to detect a crack on pipes, anti counterfeiting on bills and passport of some countries(not all), find scorpions, animal feces. More applications for 405nm can be googled and tested by users.
