Poor quality

My 2 sons (6 & 7) were each given one of these scooters as birthday gifts. They lasted the season from July - October and when we brought them out again this spring, they lasted maybe another week or two. The bearings of the wheels are cheap garbage - the cap rusted out, causing the balls to fall out and the wheels to list so badly they were unusable. The folding mechanism didn't function very well, the "height adjustment" of the handlebars is minimal, and the brake cap over the rear wheel was easily warped and therefore useless. Spend a bit more money and buy a higher-quality scooter.

A: Steering tube headset bearings are not meant to be replaced on a Mavrix scooter. As they are sealed headsets.
