This should be pulled from the shelves as it falls way short of any expectations. Tried 4 times to cut some braided line and not even a thread cut, pocket knife went right through the line with no effort.

This product is ok. The hook sharpener on the back fell off and the clippers can't cut braided line at all, but the hook is good for getting out backlashes.

Buy a pair of Toe nail clippers.

I'd suggest you buy a pair of toe nail clippers from a drug store instead of these. The only practical part of this tool is the clippers which broke on me. For the price I would expect better materials.

save you money

very low quality steel. will not cut leaders, and is not meant to cut finger nails. i have bought two, and both have snapped. the first on the sharpening surface, the second on the lever piece. so i'll say it again, SAVE YOUR MONEY!
