Complete waste of time and money

This is a great product unless you intend on shooting basketballs on it. Bought this on April 4th 2026 as a Easter present. Put it together April 5th and I’m writing this review on April 8th because the backboard glue has come apart and has to be returned. Maybe has 150 shots on it and ZERO dunks because my ten year old can’t jump that high yet. Will NEVER buy from this brand again

No, I do not recommend this product.

Back Board Cracked - very poor quality

I purchased this product 2-1/2 years ago. Within 1 year, back board had gone from clear to yellow/brown. At 2-1/2 year mark the product has failed. Back board cracked down the middle with only occasional use, and now a large piece of the back board has fallen out. Within 1 year the smaller adjustable height tube had rusted badly. Worst part is Canadian tire doesn't sell a direct replacement so it is now junk. Choose a non in-house branded option that may have a replacement parts choice.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Don't

Received for free from a relative's neighbour. No wonder. Poor quality, poor stability, unsafe. I paid nothing and it still wasn't worth it. Wasted my evening.

Q: Two question 1: when tightening the bolts with the springs on them for the rim, are you suppose to tighten all they way? 2: When tightening the bolts on the poles on the back of the backboard the poles start to oval, do I keep tightening til they flat?

1 Answer
  • A: 1. Below are the instruction of how to tighten the spring screws of the rim. Do not tighten it all the way, you may tighten it according to the spring strength to find an ideal strength you like. 2. The bolts on the poles need to be tightened, but do not make the pole deformed.
