A Screw (or four) Loose

I'm not sure if it's not meant to come with them but mine didn't come with any screws for mounting it to the wall. Aside from that, the mounting points are 18-1/10" apart meaning that it doesn't fit most standard studies spacings which -unless your house was built for this shelf- are 16"

Ok: You will have mounting issues and is flimsy

My wife got me this as a gift. Upon opening and reading the instructions, I quickly realized this was not made for North America, nor did anyone in North America test this. The unit is to be mounted directly into studs, not wall anchors. Studs that are 18” 1/10 of an inch apart… which fits no building code in Canada. Studs are almost always 16” and in rare cases 24” apart. Which means I needed to do strapping on the drywall to securely mount, so the unit now sits proud of the wall. The website is not misleading, but the packaging it comes in makes it also appear there is a solid back to the unit, which there is not. Metal for holding drills and impact drivers is also quite slim, and they flex as soon as you put in a tool with no battery. It works, but you can probably find better ones.

Great Unit.....BUT

This unit comes pre-assembled which was nice. It is very good quality and looks great with all my other MasterCraft Tool Boxes, etc. I do have one gripe though, the mounting holes are 18" apart. Studs are normally 16", so you can hit one stud, but the other side, not so much. Not sure why this wasn't made with 16" mounting holes.
