This ¼” NPT coupler enables quick connections for pneumatic tools and equipment with a hassle-free push-in fit that seals securely. The brass build of the coupler stands up to tough shop use while providing the piece with corrosion resistance. With its universal female connector, this sturdy coupler fits most male plugs for air hoses and tools. Q: Difference between this coupler and the CH quick coupler What's the different between this universal coupler (58-7841-0) and the Campbell Hausfeld Quick Coupler (58-7964-8) Can they be used interchangeably ?

1 Answer

A: No, these units cannot be used interchangeably. However, the 58-7841 Universal Coupler can be used with all types of ¼” air plugs and fittings. The different types of plugs that can be used with this coupler are: I/M = Industrial T = Automotive A = Aro The 58-7964 can only be used with I/M type plugs and fittings. Note: I/M is by far the most common type of plug.
