Great kit for your existing tools.

Used with 5” random orbit sander and with a drill using the supplied backing pad. Pads are graded from soft to stiff and worked very well for polishing car paint.

I got these to add to my pad options and didn't have a chance to use them in the last weeks with all the rain. Maybe today is the day. I tried the blue on a oscillating tool to see if it would fit on the sanding attachment and it just might work for polishing the skinny areas where I want to avoid none paint spots. It strikes me these are good for the small spots my dedicated polisher is to big to use on.

Q: Good morning, I was wondering if there is any way to purchase the 4 1/2" W/ 7/8" bore gray sponge polishing disc separately? there is a multi pack of 6 or 7 flapper discs along with one gray and one white polishing discs but I only require the gray one.

A: Six sponges in this 8pc Mastercraft Sponge Polishing Kit all have different densities which are in order: Blue (softest), yellow, green, orange, white, black (firmest). You would need to choose the appropriate sponge firmness depending on the depth of the scratch to be buffed out and then move to softer sponges for final polishing.

Q: Larger Diameter? I believe this is a 4.5" diameter sponge set. Are you considering making larger sizes available?

A: Yes, the polishing sponges of the 8pc Sponge Polishing Pad Kit are 4.5” in diameter. This is the only size we offer for this type of kit. We also offer the 5pc - 9” Polishing Kit with Hook and Loop backing pad, three 9” Polishing sponges and a bonnet, CTC # 054-2027, you can check it out at store to see if that may be an alternative option for your project.
