forgot my welding helmet at the cottage and picked this up on sale
for some work at home. its not top of the line to be sure, but just as good as a $300 LE helmet in my opinion.

I love that this helmet has adjustable shade levels. Great for using a mini mig or full size machine. Also love the Canadian Tire graphics. Good sizing adjustment and comfortable.

Q: Is there a manual? How does it compare to the white auto-darkening helmet by Mastercraft also on sale? particularly, what is the autodarkening speed of the hite helment versus this product and how do they vary in adjustability in auto-darkening?

A: There is no manual for this product. 058-9301 is a variable shade helmet (shades #9-13) with a switching speed of 1/25000s. 0589309 (Mastercraft White Auto Darkening Welding Helmet) is a fixed shade with at #10 with a switching speed of 1/4000s. You can only adjust the shade level in 058-9301.
