The utility cart is very handy and sturdy enough to hold our freeze dryer. The shelves are useful to hold lots of smaller items.

Well built. Good quality. Wish it came with shelf and drawer liner but oh well. Going to put plywood on top with small vice and used enclosed rubber mat in drawer. Also adding power bar between handles and it will be a work of art!

Holes don’t line up, drawer falls out.

Impossible to assemble - holes don’t line up. Finally managed to put together with one screw holding handle that absolutely will not match up. Tried to put drawer back in - but because it is not square - the drawer will not stay in and just falls out. VERY disappointed! Based on previous reviews I thought this would be a good purchase - can’t even exchange cause no more available.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I was trying to put together but wouldn’t fit right on top shelf. I measured the second shelf and one side was 29 1/16”. Other side is 28 5/8”. Going to exchange it. Hopefully the new one is better. Have to drive an hour and half to exchange it.

Q: Can the foam be removed?

A: Foam lays loose. It has adhesive backing to stick foam to top, but you don't need to stick it down, it can just lay on top. I imagine once the adhesive backing is used, it would not come off easily or without getting damaged.

Q: Can the middle tray be removable or will it be not sturdy

A: I think you could omit attaching the middle tray. The whole cart seems to be steel so I would think it would still be sturdy. But I assembled mine with it which is screwed into the supports.

A: Hi Gord, mine had no instructions in the box, so I figured it out on my own. If you are struggling with it, why not go to a CT store and ask them to give you a copy from one they have in store. You can also take a pic of the one they have in the store with your phone and go from there. I was asked by Canadian Tire to answer your question! Since it's a mastercraft item, they should be able to help you out. If nothing works, return it and ask for one that has the instructions. Good luck!

A: There is no mounting hole on the Tool Cart top work surface. So we don’t suggest to be mounted with a bench vice . I have also listed the loading capacity for the tool as below for reference. The loading capacity of the top work surface is also 50 lb.

Q: Can you provide the dimensions of the work surface? I want to know if my 26"x12" tool box will fit on top, but I'm unsure if the 29" wide measurement includes the handle and small shelf on the side.
